Even our dog, Ramsy, is getting ready for camping season.
This is our first year as extended stay (otherwise known as seasonal) campers.
It has been a big adjustment for us and we haven’t even really started the camping season yet.
One adjustment we have had to make is to wrap our minds around the fact that this is like a second property.
When we first started talking about the possibility of becoming extended stay campers, we decided that the only way we would commit would be if we had friends doing it with us.
You see, camping means camaraderie. Camping is sitting around a campfire with friends singing songs. Camping means letting your kids bike and visit with their friends. Camping means having the occasional supper together. Camping is all about reconnecting with my own family and connecting with our great group of friends.
So after a few hiccups, we finally were able to take our trailer out of storage yesterday.
It looks so nice in our driveway, but it will look even better at the campsite. It will look even better when it is clean and sparkling!
As a follow-up to my original birthday inspiration post, I have come up with a few more ideas for Chloe’s 5th birthday party.
In short, we are celebrating Chloe’s birthday at the campground and we have decided to plan a picnic themed luncheon for this years festivities.
So, below are some more of our thoughts and ideas for her special day.
I’m excited to say that I received a new notification from WordPress today letting me know that my stats are booming! I am flabbergasted! To be honest, I’m not sure what “booming” entails, but it did feel like a little congratulatory pat on the back!
So, in return I would like to send out a thank you to everyone for visiting my site.
